Modular Barrel Palletising System

The Modular barrel palletising system is quick to install, low cost and fast and easy to program.

Depending on your production process, you many need to palletise different barrel sizes off the same production line. This is where the Modular palletising series comes into play. The easy programming software on the Modular palletising series enables your factory floor staff to re-program the robot for palletising different sizes of barrel within minutes.

Stack patterns are automatically optimised in the software enabling you to quickly select the best stack pattern to get the most barrels onto your pallets without having to spend a lot of time planning.

Barrel palletising usually requires an underneath gripper head. The underneath gripper has a plate that goes underneath the barrel, and an arm that drops down and clamps across the top of the barrel. When the barrel is in the correct location the clamp is then released and the barrel is pushed off the gripper plate onto the pallet stack. The underneath gripper also has an integrated vacuum gripper that is used to pick and place the pallets onto the conveyor, and to pick and place slip sheets between layers if required.

Palletising speeds are optimised to suit your process and depending on the speeds you need to achieve, a standard pick and place method may be used, or for higher speed applications, a layer forming process will be used.
