At 486,800 robot installations, sales have exceeded the pre-pandemic record of 422,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.granta-automation.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/2022-06-29_10h03_49.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"574\" src=\"https:\/\/www.granta-automation.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/2022-06-29_10h03_49-1024x574.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1916\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.granta-automation.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/2022-06-29_10h03_49-1024x574.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.granta-automation.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/2022-06-29_10h03_49-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.granta-automation.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/2022-06-29_10h03_49-768x431.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.granta-automation.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/2022-06-29_10h03_49-1536x861.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.granta-automation.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/2022-06-29_10h03_49.jpg 1594w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of the industries that this robot installations increase has come from are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Food &amp; Beverages +24%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plastics &amp; Chemical +21%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Electronics +21%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Automotive +37%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Metal &amp; Machinery +38%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many reasons that manufacturers are turning towards automating processes and installing robots, and with all companies it\u2019s a case of making the decision as to when you will adopt automation rather than whether or not you will.&nbsp; All companies will eventually have to adopt automation if they want to stay ahead of their competition and remain competitive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If we turn back in time, there are many industries that simply would not have survived and kept up with the current demand if they had not automated.&nbsp; One of the key examples of this is car manufacturers.
